Poles, Guyed Poles & Braced Poles

Wind Loading on the pole can be to ASCE 7-02, BS 6399, AS1170.2, TIA/EIA-222-G, TIA/EIA-222-F and ILETR7. Indian and Bangladeshi wind loading is supported where appropriate.

Member Checking can be to ASCE Manual 72, BS 5950, AS3995, TIA/EIA-222-G, TIA/EIA-222-F and ILETR7.

Guyed & Braced poles may be designed using BS6399 with member checking to BS5950.

For poles to ILETR7 the aerodynamic damping is calculated and structural damping can be varied from the default value so the Engineer can use his chosen overall response in the design.

Probability factors can be changed so that Strength and Ancillary Rotations can be calculated for any Service Period.

Head frames and ancillaries are read from libraries for rapid and accurate modelling.

Section properties are generated automatically for tapered sections of Circular, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 20 sided tubes.

Models may be exported to AutoCAD and other drawing systems.
