Power Poles, Steel Transmission Pole Structures

 

Completing data entry in 6 simple screens generates a 400kv Power Pole with 16 sided main shaft and 8 sided crossarms with different wall thicknesses.

 

Crossarms may be asymmetrical and cranked if required.

 

Section libraries are automatically generated for the tapered members.

 

Section properties are generated automatically for sections of Circular, Square, 6, 8, 12, 16 and  20 sided tubes.

 

Wind Loading on the pole can be to ASCE 7-02, BS 6399, AS1170.2, TIA/EIA-222-G, TIA/EIA-222-F and ILETR7

 

Member Checking can be to ASCE Manual 72, BS 5950, AS3995, TIA/EIA-222-G, TIA/EIA-222-F and ILETR7
