Training

People come from all over the world to England for training in the use of MSTower, Mast and Pole.

People have come from India, Ireland, Iran, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Sri Lanka, America, Venezuela and China.

Training courses

Courses are limited to 3 people at any one time.

 

Courses are organised to suit the Engineers experience and the parts of the program they are going to use.

 

People coming on a short flight can complete an introduction to towers only in 1 day of about 7 hours contact time.

 

For Towers, Masts and Poles more time is needed with a contact time of 12 hours over 2 days.

 

Long haul students are here for about 7 days, 1 to arrive and 1 to depart, 4 days to work and 1 day to sightsee in London.

 

People on a long haul flight need some time to adjust and 4 days are needed with a total contact time of 20 hours as they need often to cover their National codes aswell as British and American.

 

Students normally have some experience of computerised design, have experience of towers and are of graduate standard or better.

 

Students should bring their own laptops to work on in the evening, temporary licences are given to use on their laptops.

Visas

Visas have not been a problem. Application is made to the Visa office attached to the British Embassy or Consulate in the visitors home country. Usually a letter from us confirming that the visit is for a technical course is sufficient.

Visitors are sent a travel note summarising Airport information and Contact details for their journey to England to assist their journey.

Airports

 

Visitors are normally collected and returned to the airport provided the times are not extreme, otherwise a taxi is arranged.

 

  Luton London, about 25 minutes away by car.

  Heathrow London, about 1 hour away.

  Gatwick, about 2 ½ hours away, this is too far

                 away for collection for 1 or 2  day courses.
